Respiratory Therapy Services

The Cardiopulmonary (Respiratory) Department at Marshall Browning Hospital is staffed by three Registered Therapists, two Certified Therapists, and one Registered Eligible Therapist. The hours are 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven days a week.

Our therapists are trained in both diagnostics and acute care settings. Most therapies that we do on an inpatient basis can also be done as an outpatient service. Examples would be: Nebulizers, Pulmonary Function Test (Breathing Tests), Cardiac Stress Testing, Holter Monitors, Pulse Oximetry, Cardiolite Stress Testing, Holter Monitor Scanning Service, Cardiac Event Monitors, Pulmonary Function Consultation and Cardiac Rehab.
